My favorite story is Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables,
which was published in 1862 in France. The title of the story can be
translated as ‘The Miserable Ones’, because many of its characters
suffer greatly throughout the novel. The characters struggle with many
difficult questions, such as “What is true justice?,” “What must a
person do to right their wrongs?,” and “What is forgiveness?” The novel
centers around the character Jean Valjean, a man who when he was very
young and very poor stole a loaf of bread to feed his family. For this
crime (which some would say was not a crime at all), he was imprisoned
for decades. He
escapes from prison and makes a new life for himself as an honorable
citizen, but must reckon with his past for the rest of his life. I love it because it is a story about redemption.

Well, my favorite story is about Sherlock Holmes, which was published in 1887 in England by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and first came as a novel. The main characters are Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Watson. The whole novel is mainly about Sherlock Holmes. he is a detective who solves a lot of crimes and mysteries by unbelievable ways. He's so intelligent and noble. Then as the novel developed it change the idea if the story to become from just solving crimes to try capture the worst criminal in London who known as Professor Moriarty, but the problem just Sherlock Holmes and his best friend Dr.Waston who know that Professor Moriarty is the one behind everything bad in London. For me i like because i like how detectives solve crimes specially complicated crimes and it's really i interesting to imagine London back in 1880s and 1890s.

DeleteMy favorite story is an old story which is from Disney cartoons. It is Pinocchio. It was Published in 1996 when I was 2 years old. Every time I see the movie it reminds me about my childhood. It is about Pinocchio 'the main character' the child toy boy who transformed to a human boy in the end of the story. There are many characters in the story. The main characters are Pinocchio, Mister Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket, and the Blue Fairy. In the end of the story there is whale ate Pinocchio, and Pinocchio was struggling to go out from his stomach. Finally, he did it with his father and Jiminy. Its really good story and I like it so much.

DeleteMy favorite story is an old the wild west .I read the story before a few month.The story is about native American and the immigrants from Europe.The immigrants was fighting with the native american because they want their areas and they were travailing by trails.There are so many things on the story but the main idea is about the native American and European how they life. There are so many character on the book I read,but I like Annie Oakley was an expert shooter.Finally, I like it because there is so many interesting things on the story.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite story is ARGO, it is a movie, and it is based on a real story. It happened in 1979. The story is about the covert of life and death that took place to rescue six Americans during the hostage crisis in Iran. The Americans who posed as Canadians did a fake movie in Iran to bring back the americas to their country. Who had the big idea was Tony Mendez, and he received an award for that. It's a very good movie, you have to watch it. I like it so much because I love real stories and is very interesting. They are so different to a normal stories.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite story is Joseph, it is one of many stories in Quran telling prophets life.This story about prophet Joseph when he had saw a dream and told his father Jacob what he dream about but his father told hem do not tell anybody about that dream. When Joseph became older his brothers became jealous of Joseph and they tried to throw hem in the will. God survived Joseph by caravan. when Joseph became oldest he rule Egypt. It is amazing story, every time when i read it i fell like that my first time.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite story is "The Count of Monte Cristo", which also a French novel written by Alexandre Dumas in 1844. The story about a successful man called Edmond and his friend Fernand. Fernand became envious because of the successful life of Edmond, so he decided to sign Edmond in charge of treason, and he succeeded. The judge condemned Edmond by life imprisonment. After many years, he escaped from prison and began to take his revenge!

My favorite story is about the film “The Pursuit of Happyness”, a drama from 2006. It tells a true story about a homelessness man that struggled so much to provide a good structure for his son. The man is represented by Will Smith and the film was directed by Gabriele Muccino. During all the film, is possible to see the suffered life he had, and in the worst moment he had only some scanners to sell to doctors, that were impossible to sell. He never gave up and after many difficulties, he met a guy that could change his life. It is a exciting film and shows a reality very hard, but he always looked forward to be happy.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite story is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The story was written by Lewis Carroll in the 19th century. The story tells a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a visionary world. The visionary world called Wonderland, and there are many strange creatures to live there. It attracts a host of readers, because it is interesting and exciting. In the book, Alice is a little girl of Victorian-era Britain. She is a seven or eight years old,but she tries to do something as a older kid. At the beginning, she is very naive. For example, eating pills, which can make people to up or down. Meanwhile, she is brave when she beats the evil Red Queen. This story is indeed popular in the world, and also it is a wonderful movie.
ReplyDeletemy favorite story is David Copperfield which talks about David's life and tells us about different parts from David's life. The book starts with David's life from when he was born after his father died. The book tells us that David childhood and life were difficult and unhappy. Also, I read in this book how David's life was hard, starting from being an orphan after his mother died. This book covers important things in David's life such as his relationship with his stepfather, his aunt and his friends. The book covers David's new life when he falls in love and got married. The story is very interesting and wonderful.

My favorite story is Dumbo. It was a Walt Disney's animated film in 1941, in the USA. This story is about Jumbo Jr, a baby elephant who is cruelly nicknamed "Dumbo". He is humiliated for his big ears, but he can flying by using his ears as wings. Dumbo has only one true friend, Timothy - a mouse. I love it because it is a story about how to overcome challenges, true friendships, prejudice and overcoming.
