For example...
My name is Amy Sams. I grew up in Phoenix, but have lived in Tucson since 2004. I love working at CESL because it combines my three favorite things: language, culture, and people (and sometimes, if I'm lucky, travel). One of my favorite things to do in Tucson is eat, so if you need a good restaurant recommendation, I can help! My favorite restaurants are Wildflower Grill and The Hub. Since I love to eat, I also love to exercise. You can find me hiking Mt. Lemmon on the weekends and taking dance classes during the week. I also have a Jack Russell puppy who is one year old. She loves taking me on walks and running around the house at lightning speed. She has a lot of energy! Here's a picture of her just doing her thing. I'm looking forward to writing with you this session!

ReplyDeleteHi my name is Abdullah Alsaleh. I'm from Saudi Arabia exactly from Dammam it's in the eastern part . Since i was born my dream was studying in the USA, so right know i'm living the dream. I love anything about soccer and i'm a big fun of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol. i'm 18 years old on July 8th I will be 19, so I'm kind of excited. one day i'm hoping to be an engineer, but i know I it needs a lot of work, so i'll do my best. DeleteHi! My name is Diana Moreno. I'm from Sonora, Mexico. I have been at CESL since August. I'm studying English because I think it is essensial in life. My favorite hobby is go shooping. I go almost every weekend. Sometimes I go to the park and I do exercise there. I'm 19 years old and I have three sisters. One thing that I love is eat mexican food, but made by myself. The last thing that I want to say is that maybe I will study nutrition in Mexico, but I don'y know yet.

DeleteMy name is Xin Du, I'm a student who study at CESL this summer. I'm from China. Before I went to Tucson, I had worked as a part time job in my father's company in Guangzhou. My hometown Guangzhou is a very beautiful city which has become to be a morden urbia in China. Now I'm very glad to go to America and study English at CESL, because I really need to improve my English and get ready to go to the university. At weekend, I like to play basketball in my apartment, that is a good feeling for me. This summer session for me is very important, I should try my best to learn English, but I don't think it is a terrible thing for me because I have good teachers and very kind classmates. So I'm looking forword to study with my classmates and have a nice experience in Tucson.

DeleteMy name is Meshal Alhethaily. I was born and grew up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I have a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from King Saud University, and I work as a demonstrator at the same department since Nov 2012. I have been here in Tucson since January 2013. I chose Arizona because it has two excellence universities especially in the field of engineering (UofA & ASU), and I hope to join one of them to complete the master's degree. Here in Tucson, during workday I don't have free time, but in the weekend I have many activities such as play soccer, go to the theaters. DeleteMy name is Rodrigo Vidaller and I'm 26 years old. I' m from Brazil and was born in Santos. I concluded my college of industrial engineering in 2008 and I'm living in Sao Paulo since that. I studied English for years, but stopped practicing after concluded my course. I decided to improve my English because my new position in the company that I work demands and as I want to travel to other countries and know about other cultures, it is also important for me. In Brazil, I work a lot and I like to exercise, eat and go out with my friends in my free time. In almost the weekends, I travel to Santos to visit my family and friends, it is one hour by car.

DeleteMy full mane is Qiang Zhang, and my English name is Jackie. I come from China. My hometown is DaTong, ShanXi province, which in the north of China. I am 20 years old and I have a sister, she is younger than I am. I am interested in many kinds of balls, like basketball, table tennis, badminton and billiards. I usually play basketball and billiards with my friends when I have leisure time. At the same time, I am fond of cars. When I was 12 years old, I began to drive. I learn it by myself and I drive very well. Therefore, I have been driving for 8 years. During these years, I usually drove my car with my girl friend and other friends to hang out. Because we are very young, we would like to pursue a sense of exciting. Now I study in CESL in order to acquire a good environment to improve my English. DeleteMy name is Sadiq Alquranie.I am from Saudi Arabia and my city in eastern region in my country.I have been in Tucson since October 2012.I am here at CESL to improve my English and enroll in the University of Arizona to do my bachelor's degree in Engineering.We such as great teachers at CESL and we will do the best to improve our English.I am happy to be in Tucson because I don't like the traffic in big cites that waste your time to go to some where.My hobby is watching TV shows and playing video games in free time.

I was born in July 3rd, so i'm 18 years old. Fortunately, I have condition admission in The U of A as an engineer. They need me to get 6 in IELTS. I wish I will get it. i have been here in Tucson Since December 21st 2013. I miss my country so much, and i hope to go back soon to see my family.

I have been here, in Tucson, since Jan, 2013. I intend to study at CESL until next Jan. I'm here, because my husband will be working at UA this year. He is an astronomer and he does a lot of researches about stars.
ReplyDeleteI'm a kindergarden teacher, in Brazil. I also worked in big companies as quality analyst for many years. I studied Education at college and after I did my MBA - Master Business Adminstration. When, I come back to Brazil, I would like to teach children in a bilingual school.
I really enjoy going to the movies and visit new places like museums, parks, zoo, restaurants. Here in Tucson, there are a lot of places to visit. I like Tucson so much because it is beautiful, and people are friendly.
